Hi, I am Yīngyí.
I believe by taking adventures in the field of art, I can understand myself and the world better.
My works take on an unconventional perspective of rituals. I find my source of inspiration in the sublime landscape, in Chinese mythology, and in the human body. By linking landscape with the human body, I place emphasis on fluid transformability and fused ecstasy.
My works express notions of poetic absurdity, precarious-balanced empty space, in which the confrontation between the absence and the presence can be staged silently.
